Coach Will Carter Appointed Director of Event Operations for AOG Events in DFW

Will Carter, founder & Executive Director of Carter Elite Basketball has been named new Director of Event Operations for Attitude of Gratitude (AOG) National Events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The announcement was made via Carter Elite Basketball’s Instagram & Twitter accounts. Carter expressed his excitement about the new role.

In addition to his new position at AOG Events, Carter serves as the Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas. His involvement at JPII underscores his commitment to developing young athletes at both the grassroots and high school levels.

Carter brings a wealth of experience to AOG Events. Under his leadership, Carter Elite Basketball has achieved significant success in 2025 including winning five tournaments and managing three teams across Dallas and Fort Worth. His program has also seen over eight players receive college interest or scholarship offers this season.

In his new role at AOG Events, Carter will oversee the planning and execution of basketball tournaments and showcases throughout the DFW region. His appointment is expected to enhance the quality and reach of AOG’s events in DFW, benefiting players, coaches, and the broader basketball community.

Carter’s dual roles at Carter Elite & AOG Events position him as a key figure in the development of youth basketball in North Texas.
