Had a chance to check out games this past weekend while covering some of the top young talent in attendance. The event brought together competitive programs from multiple regions, creating a strong atmosphere for players to perform in front of scouts, and basketball evaluators. Throughout the weekend, there was no shortage of talent on display as multiple prospects stepped up and made strong impressions with their production, energy, and overall feel for the game.
Our staff had the opportunity to evaluate a variety of players who impacted games in different ways, whether it was through scoring, playmaking, defensive activity, rebounding, or leadership on the floor. Several athletes consistently stood out with their poise, skill level, and ability to compete against quality competition throughout the event.
In this article, we break down the performances of Dakota Jackson (Dallas Mustangs), Randall Ivey (Georgia Stars), CJ Smiley (Georgia Stars), Demarcus Tippens (Georgia Stars), Cameron Armstrong (Mustangs), Ethan Galloway, Jo McCoy, Joel Jones (Pels), Branden Vincent Jr. (Pels), Riel Carpenter (99OVR), Tristan Echols (99OVR), Karter Harris, and Jalen Smith (SA Future).
Each player showcased a unique skill set throughout the weekend while displaying toughness, confidence, and the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
