The inaugural Pre-Live Series is a set of practices where the TPT staff attends grassroots practices prior to the July live period that everybody is always preparing for. Checking out practice gives scouts the chance to take another look at key prospects, not only to update our rankings but also to shape the detailed scouting reports I share with college coaches each week. While practices may not always feature full 5-on-5 or live gameplay offering valuable insight into a player’s coachability, half-court IQ, effort during drills, and overall demeanor. Texas Impact continues to impress as a well-run program with strong coaching that’s focused on preparing athletes for the demands of live-period competition.
